Happy Mother's Day to all!!!! Had a nice day .... didn't do too much...which is good! We went to church this morning because of course the kids always sing on Mother's Day. They always sing the same songs every year but this year Brock seemed to get a kick out of a couple of them... laughing at the "M O M M Y" song...like Bingo!! He thought that was funny! Then after church ... we had lunch with my parents and Terri and fam. and Jennifer and the kids at the Elks. It's always the best way to go!! Then we headed home! It was also nice that I didn't have anyone at my house....that way I didn't have to worry about making sure the house was clean!!!!!! Always a plus!

Following i've posted some photos of Brock's pre-school class field trip to the zoo in Springfield. It was a fun day and I had a good time myself! His field trip was also on his birthday so that was a nice little treat for Brock's big day! Brock got kind of cheated on his birthday! No big party for him this year. He wanted to have a kid party but it just got kind of messed up....there are 2 other kids in his class that have a birthday all in the same week and with the field trip and all...and Brent having golf league...it just didn't seem to work out this year. So Thursday evening we just had supper with my family...and of course the neighbor girl... at Fiesta Grande .... or Mexico as Brock likes to call it! Brent couldn't be there because he had to golf so we saved the cake part for just the 4 of us later that evening when he got home. It wasn't much of a birthday but Brock didn't seem to mind too much!!! Then Saturday we headed to Springfield so that Brock could pick out a couple of toys...we got off cheap this year... no big birthday presents either...but that's okay .... he didn't seem to care!!! We also played a round of putt putt which the kids always seem to enjoy. It was a nice day!
