Minute with Mindy: Where did our babies go???????

Last night we attended Raegan and Clinton's kindergarten graduation.... and let me tell you it was almost sad. They looked soooooo big up there on stage!!! And it's funny how people tell you ALL the time how fast it will go... but you know what... they are so right. It is incredible to me how fast time is flying by... before you know they will be graduating high school.... God help me then!!!! Anyway, it was such a nice little ceremony they had... I even cried... I tried not to... and everytime the tears started coming I would look at my sister and just try to laugh... because if I didn't laugh at myself then I would surely cry harder!!!! Everything about the ceremony was really well done... the school has been around for 25 years so I guess they have had their practice!!! But anyway... they sang a little song... they answered questions... like what is 6+6, etc... and did some spelling words. I was so proud of my little Raegan... she did get to answer one question (Mrs. Courson asked what E-G-G spelled and she answered) but she kept her hand up for every question... she wanted to answer before she even knew the question... I was proud of her for that just because she is always so quiet I was glad that she had the confidence to answer the questions in front of all those people!!! Clinton was called on a couple times to answer questions too!!! They both just did a wonderful job. Then there was the slideshow. We were asked to bring in 2-3 pictures of the kids and while they show the pictures Preacher Mike sang "Let Them Be Little".... that is where the crying came into play... as I am sure you can imagine!!!! It was just so strange.... just about all those kids have been in school there together since they were 3 years old.... and now they will be entering 1st grade... I can't believe it!!! I feel that I have been fortunate enough to know every kid in both Raegan and Brock's class and I feel a special bond with each and every one of them... some more than others of course!!!! They all know me by name... and always give me hugs when I see them out and about. They are all (well except for maybe a couple... and Terri you know who I'm talking about!!!) very good kids. I'm getting sad even as I type this!!! Anyway.... here are our babies... and how much they have grown!!!! I adore you both Raegan and Clinton!!!!
