Brock "The Rock" Rockstar

Okay... so now that it's been more than a week since I've written I'll just touch on a couple of the highlights.

My "mommy" and I got to get out of the house a while ago and went out and saw the play Cats. The kids thought we were going to see the movie "Aristocats"... I just went along with it. We had a good time... spent the night and everything... did a little shopping...not much. It was nice to spend some time with her since even though we live so close to each other we really never see that much of each other... pretty much holidays and birthdays. I have a friend that has dinner with her parents at least once a week... we just don't ever do that stuff... probably because they have a busier social life than I do!!!!

Also, this week I've been helping out in Brock's classroom. I am putting together a scrapbook for their class project which will be auctioned off at an annual fundraiser. I did one for them last year which turned out okay... hope this one will be okay too!!! Anyway, their teacher took them in the other room and asked them a few questions for the scrapbook while she was also doing things for their progress reports. And that Brock is just so stinking funny... she asked him what his full name was and he came right back at her and said "Some people call me The Rock... I am The Rock... Clinton calls me The Rock and Raegan calls me The Rock". Then she asked him what his favorite food was... and he says "chicken pie with maple syrup"... now where on earth did that come from... she laughed and asked if that was something that mom made for him and he said "nope...never really had it before". When she asked what he wanted to be when he grew up he said "I don't want to grow up I want to be a kid ... and a rock star". Seriously... that kid cracks me up!!! Then we went bowling for the Kiwanis club and he had the whole place laughing ... out in front of everyone dancing like a crazy kid... dancing with the high school girls.... only 3 but already a ladies man... too funny!!!!
